Hamlin plans celebration of Sesquicentennial

Hamlin will celebrate the town's 150th anniversary at Hamlin Heritage Day Wednesday, August 27 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hamlin Town Hall, Route 19. Events include music by Notably Yours, a strolling barbershop quartet, Hamlin Heritage Award presentation and recognition of past supervisors with great speakers, raffle drawing, music by the Golden Eagle String Band and fireworks at dusk.

Events are free. Birthday cake, popcorn and souvenirs for the children will also be offered.
