Sweden Skate Park under construction

The long anticipated Sweden Skate Park is under construction at the town's Redman Road park. A crew from TrueRide, Inc. is installing the facility which was partly designed by Brockport High School students under the direction of teacher Brett Handley. Funded in part by BISCO, the skate park project is part of the overall Park Master Plan. The town will hold a grand opening celebration for the Skate Park on Saturday, September 13 at 1 p.m. Submitted photo by Rob Carges.
