Treasure hunt winners chosen
The winners of the "Pirate Pete's Treasure Hunt" at the Wooden Boat Festival have been announced by the Orleans County Chamber of Commerce. The first prize went to Taylor Hurrell of Medina. She received a cheesecake donated by Clarendon Cheesecakes, two sets of portable lights from Travel Trailer Center, a post-it note holder from the Orleans County Chamber of Commerce, a large pizza from JP's Market, and a wooden jewelry box from Orleans Outdoor. The second place winner, Bill Reynolds of Albion, received two sets of portable lights from Travel Trailer Center, a gift certificate from Four C's Marina, a gift certificate from Wiley's Riverside Marina, and a Fishing Caddy from Nancy's Superette.
The winners won their prizes by completing a riddle that was in the programs at the Wooden Boat Festival on Saturday, August 9 and Sunday, August 10.
