Holley District seeks community input
in superintendent search process
Holley school district residents and staff are invited to share their expectations about the future leadership of the district at a Community and Staff Forum on Thursday, September 11 at 7 p.m. in the Holley Elementary School Cafetorium, 3800 North Main Street.
The district has begun a search for a new superintendent following the announcement by Holley Superintendent Vernon Hobbs that he plans to retire by the end of the year.
At the forum, C. Tod Eagle, district superintendent of Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES, who is assisting the Holley Board of Education with the search, will talk about the process and timeline. Residents and staff will have a chance to share what qualities they would like the board to seek when selecting a new superintendent.
The board is assembling a citizens' committee to assist in the screening of candidates and selection of finalists. Anyone interested in serving is encouraged to attend the community forum to learn more about the process and to submit a letter of interest to the Holley Board of Education, 3800 North Main Street, Holley, NY 14470. Include your name, relationship to the district, address and phone number.
