Brockport Fire Department
dedicates flagpoles at monument
The Brockport Fire Department has received two bronze colored flagpoles as a donation from the Kenyon family in honor of their father, Everett Kenyon, as he turns 80 years old. The poles will display the American flag and the Brockport Fire Department flag.
Mr. Kenyon has been an active volunteer firefighter since 1949 and his children thought this donation would be a fitting tribute to their Dad on this milestone birthday with over 50 years serving his community in the fire service.
Presentations at the September 6 event were made by Congressman Tom Reynolds, Senator George Maziarz, Vice Mayor of the Village of Brockport Mort Wexler and Fire Chief Gregory B. Wing. Chaplain Tom Stroup dedicated the poles and the Kenyon family also took part in the occasion.
