Indoor soccer facility re-opens in Chili
Off the Wall Soccer Indoor Arena in Chili Center is open again for clinics, leagues and rentals this fall. Roberts Wesleyan College Men's Soccer Coach Greg Gidman has taken over the management of the facility from former Rochester Rhino Carlos Zavala. The small indoor arena will be used primarily for fast footwork skill development and technical skill training. Clinics begin September 22 are now being offered for children ages 5-6 through U-12
Each session will be divided into three parts - fast footwork, practical drills, and small-sided game play. Gidman has served as a high school coach, community coach, ODP coach and specialist instructor in academies, camps and local clubs.
The facility is located in the Chili-Paul Plaza behind the Auto Zone store. The 35' x 85' boarded field is open for soccer enthusiasts in Chili and surrounding suburbs. Adult co-ed scorpion leagues will be available Friday nights. The arena can be rented for instruction by local coaches and teams.
