•Riley, Kenneth M., September 27, 2003. Survived by his wife, Barbara; brother, Lawrence Riley of Virginia and sisters, Marian Sherwood and Grace Menzies. John was a WWII Marine veteran and retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.

Funeral Services were held September 30 at First Bible Baptist Church. Interment, Fairfield Cemetery, Spencerport. Donations can be made to First Bible Baptist Church in his memory.


BROCKPORT

•Baker, Emma L., On September 29, 2003 at the age of 77. Survived by her daughters, Bonnie (Donald) Clark, Barbara (Walter) Delano, Karen (Robert) Flory, Janice (John Clancy) Baker, Cynthia (Edward Mundt) Baker; son, Kenneth Little; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held October 2 at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Those wishing can contribute to the Lung and Heart Transplant Fund in her memory.


•Bommersbach, Nora E. (White), On September 28, 2003 at age 57. She is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Bruce; her loving daughter, Alicia; mother, Marion White; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service was held October 4 at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Donations can be made to a charity of one's choice in her memory.


•Converse, Waldo Clark, On Monday, September 29, 2003. He is survived by his daughter, Connie Converse; and two sons, Wayne (Debbie) and Scott; his sister, Carrie (Clair) Robbins; and his brother, Philip Maurice Converse; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Roy and Jane; and his great-granddaughter, Kailymie Rose; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Horace.

Funeral Services were held October 3 at the First Presbyterian Church of Brockport. Contributions can be made to Brockport Lions Club in his memory.


•Klug, Carl E., September 20, 2003. Survived by his mother, Marie Klug; family, Margaret Bikel, Robert Klug, Lisa Klug and Joseph Ambro. Carl served as Pastor of Concordia Lutheran Church in Brockport for over 20 years. Most recently he was employed as a technical writer and also an instructor at RIT.

His Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, October 25 at Faith Lutheran Church, 2576 Browncroft Boulevard.


CHILI

•O'Connor, Carol A., Thursday, September 25, 2003. Surrounded by her loving children, Cheryl (Tom) Tate, Mark Jackman, Cynthia (Karl) Meyers; grandchildren, Eric and Adam Tate, Heather Jackman, Jenna Curran, Blaise and Seth Meyer; sisters, Marion (Jim) Elling, Barbara (Michael) Sankevicus; several nieces, nephews and many good friends.

Carol served as Town Clerk in Chili for 32 years after being elected to eight consecutive four year terms before retiring in 1999. Prior to being elected to Town Clerk, she was the Town's Tax Receiver for four years. She was elected to a seat on the Town Board in 1999.

CLARENDON

•Maw, Shirley Merritt, Age 71, September 28, 2003. She is survived by her husband, Clayton "John" of 51 years; son, John (Toni) Maw of Florida; daughters, Renee (Pete) Cook of Albion, Deborah (Chris) Hughson of Albion; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, William (Donna) Merritt; step-brother, Edward (Donna) Merritt; sister-in-law, Sandra Hare; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Funeral Service was held October 2 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home Inc., Albion. Inter-ment, Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the family.


HAMLIN

•Barberio, Pasquale "Pat" "Papa," September 26, 2003, age 82. He was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn. He is survived by his children, Julianne Baliva, Janet Barberio, Michael Barberio, Doretta Arva, Daniel Barberio, James Barberio, Ellen Barberio and Patrick Barberio. He was affectionately known as "Papa" to 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Andrew; sister, Madaline; many nieces and nephews. He was also a WWII veteran and member of the Brick-layer's Union.

A Funeral Mass was said September 29 at St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Church, Hamlin. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in his memory.


•Jacobs, Kenneth H., Peacefully September 24, 2003 surrounded by his family, age 79. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley Jacobs; his children, Gail A. Jacobs and Mark E. (Lisa) Jacobs; three grandchildren, Daniel and Christine Klotzbach and Kaitlynn Jacobs; two step-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Victoria Carpenter; two brothers, Carl and Lon (Jeanette) Jacobs; his sister, Evelyn Cross; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ken was a longtime member of Hamlin VFW Post 6703 and a Charter member of Brockport Lions Club.

Funeral Services were held September 27 at St. John Lutheran Church, Hamlin. Interment Lakeside Cemetery. Donations can be made to St. John Lutheran Church or GRHCA/Hospice in his memory.


HILTON

•Ingraham, Jeanne R. (Kirchgessner), Peacefully, September 28, 2003, age 79. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert P. Ingraham; her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Nancy Ingraham; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Christopher Ingraham; her nephew, Mike (Linda) Kirchgessner; grand niece, Meagan Kirchgessner; several cousins and many friends. Jeanne worked for many years in the Newborn Nursery at Lakeside Memorial Hospital.

•Schofield, Shirley M. (Adams), September 23, 2003 age 68 in Florida, formerly of Hilton. She is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Barbara, Patricia (Lisa), Robert (Jean Yockel), Donald, Linda (Steve) Gilman; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held September 29 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment Parma Union Cemetery. Those wishing can contribute to American Diabetes Association in her memory.


KENDALL

•Mayes, Gordon C., Age 88 years. September 28, 2003 in Batavia. father of Paul (Dixie) Mayes of Kendall, William Mayes of Kendall; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. Mayes was retired from the former Rochester Products and an Army veteran of WWII.

Private services were conducted.
