Assistant building inspector steps up in interim

Hamlin Supervisor Austin Warner III promises "no interruption in services," following the firing of Building Inspector Larry Gursslin two weeks ago.

Cindy Olds, Hamlin's assistant building inspector, will take charge in the interim. The town has also retained the technical services from Greece should the need arise.

Warner said the town has already posted an ad for Gursslin's replacement and will be taking applications until November 14. Forms are available in the Town Clerk's Office. Interviews will start November 20.
