Junior Hoop and Youth Basketball
leagues hold registrations

Boys and girls in grades three and four can register for a basketball program sponsored by Spencerport Continuing Education and Spencerport Rangers basketball.

The program offers nine hours of instruction by Spencerport schools basketball staff; nine regular games; skills demonstration at the boys varsity Blue/Gold game; free admission to all Spencerport home basketball games and a team T-shirt.

Registration is scheduled for Tuesday, November 4 at 7 p.m. at the Spencerport High School East Cafeteria. Program fee is $40. Junior Hoop League will meet November 15, 22, 29; December 6, 13, 20; January 3, 10, 17, 24.

A Youth Basketball League for boys and girls in grades 5 and 6 will be a competitive league with separate divisions for boys and girls. Each team will practice once a week and play games once or twice a week.

The Youth Basketball League begins the week of November 18 with practices on Tuesday nights and games on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Taylor and Bernabi gyms. The league ends January 29, 2004. Registration is Tuesday, November 4 at 7 p.m. in the Spencerport High School East Cafeteria. Program fee is $60. Coaches are needed. Call Greg Kincaid, 352-8936.
