Brockport Zoning Board hearing slated

The Brockport Zoning Board of Appeals is scheduled to meet to discuss the construction of a senior citizen housing complex and a continuance of a permit for a two family housing unit.

Belmont Development Corp. is proposing the construction of a 32 unit, one-bedroom apartment complex at 222 Main Street. The apartments will be housed in a single two-story building. Site preparation includes the demolition of a single wood frame commercial building and infrastructure improvements.

Property owner George Brocious is scheduled to come before the board to request the continuance of a permit for a non-conforming use as a two-family residence at property located at 61 High Street.

The meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 24 at 7 p.m. at the Brockport Village Hall.
