Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony set

The 12th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at the Hilton Village Community Center gazebo on Saturday, December 6. According to event coordinator Joe Lee, this traditional event will begin at 7 p.m. with Hilton's "Citizen of the Year" Doug Hurlbutt lighting the tree, followed by Denny and Her Escorts leading the caroling - and, of course, hot chocolate for all. At 7:30 p.m., everyone will be invited inside for a special 10-minute holiday performance from the Parma Christian Fellowship Youth Group, a trip to Santa's North Pole, a visit with Santa with photo opportunity, and light snacks. This is absolutely the magical way to begin your family's holiday season, according to organizers.
