Entries sought in Orleans Chamber's photo contest

The Orleans County Chamber of Commerce invites photo entries that represent Orleans County for use in various publications, including the Chamber's 2004 Directory and the new Orleans County Travel Guide. More than 60 photos were submitted from area residents last year, according to Marketing & Tourism Committee Chair Mary Fudge.

Photos will be evaluated based on pictorial composition, originality, interest of subject matter and visual appeal. "We are looking for a wide range of images: from wildlife to fall foliage, historical sites to sunsets, festivals to sporting events, planes, trains and automobiles to water fronts," Executive Director David Kelly said.

The top three photographs submitted will receive prizes.

Entry forms are available at the Chamber offices in Albion and Medina and may also be downloaded from the Genesee-Orleans Regional Arts Council web site at www.goart.org. All entries must be received by Thursday, January 15, 2004. Entries may be dropped off at either of the two Orleans County Chamber offices or by emailing a digital image (minimum 300 dpi) to ocphotos@rochester.rr.com.
