Hilton students garner Gutenberg Awards
Twenty-eight Hilton High School students in the Graphic Arts program taught by Tait Loe and Ron Hindmarch earned International Gutenberg Awards for their lithography, screen prints and portfolios this year. The Gutenberg Awards are an international student graphic art contest sponsored by the International Graphic Arts Education Association (IGAEA) and the International Association of Printing House Craftsmen (IAPHA). The awards were presented at R.I.T. and were sponsored by Printing and Imaging of New York. From left are: Tait Loe, Scott Barnhart, Jason Pessin, John Clark, Sean Conlon, Stephanie Benway, Kate Lobel, Dustin Chamberlin, Ron Hindmarch, Erik Schwind, Jon Fose, Brandon McCaughey, Kyle Wright, Steve Heppner and Dan Moore. Also earning awards were: Dan Eichas, Jeff Wallenhorst, Kevin Lasota.
