Coaches vs. Cancer Basketball Tournament
in Spencerport December 5 & 6

Spencerport Central Schools will be hosting the 7th Annual Coaches vs. Cancer Boys Basketball Tournament on December 5 and 6 at Spencerport High School.

This year's tournament features local rivals Brighton, Penfield and Brockport along with host Spencerport.

Games on Friday, December 5 feature Penfield vs. Brockport at 6:15 p.m. followed by Brighton vs. Spencerport at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, December 6, consolation game is at 6:15 p.m. and the championship game is at 8:15 p.m.

All proceeds from this tournament are directed to the American Cancer Society in the name of Coaches vs. Cancer. Coaches vs. Cancer is affiliated with the National Association of Basketball Coaches and was formed to honor the late Jim Valvano, basketball coach and ESPN personality who passed away from cancer.

A donation of $3,200 was given to the American Cancer Society from last year's tournament, making a six-year total of $30,200.
