Open skate benefits scholarship fund

On Friday, December 5, the Hilton Hockey Booster Club will be holding the fifth annual Rob Coppaway Memorial Scholarship Skate. Rob was a 1999 graduate of Hilton High School and a four-year varsity ice hockey player who died in a car accident in December 1999. All proceeds from this event will go into a scholarship fund that was created in his memory. The open skate will be held at Lakeshore Hockey Arena, 123 Ling Road from 6:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
