Area authors visit Lift Bridge Book Shop

Over 25 local adult and children's authors will offer informal readings and presentations throughout the afternoon Sunday, December 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. They will also be available to sign their books.

• In the local history and interest area: Bill Kauffman* author of the Writers and Books Sense of Place Award for Dispatches from the Muckdog Gazette, Tom Taber* on the Civil War, Betty Sherwood Genter*, Bill Andrews editor of "Around Brockport," Shirley Husted*, Ruth Rosenberg-Naparsteck.
• Poets: Thom Ward* with the very new Various Orbits, Bruce Sweet* with three new releases, MJ Iuppa* and Night Traveler, Sarah Brinklow, Peter Conners*, Ralph Black, Steve Huff.
• Fiction Writers: Paul Ferguson*, Nancy Kress* and her very latest Nothing Human; Claudia Bishop*, Marti Naparsteck, David Sakmyster.
• Non-Fiction Writers: Andrew Saul, Doctor Yourself, Natural Healing that Works, Mike Doolin*, PJ Hill, Lori Mara, Margaret Osborne*, Kathy Stone.
• Children's authors: Vivian Vandevelde* popular author of both science and historical fiction, Mary Stanton, James Bradford Phillips*.
