A giving spirit at Hilton schools

Throughout the Hilton School District this holiday season, students and staff members have been busy elves, according to Hilton Character Education Coordinator Jodi McKain. Donations of toys, games, stuffed creatures, food, mittens, hats and gloves overflow around a tree in the lobby of Northwood Elementary School where Student Council members have spearheaded the effort. Student Council advisor, teacher Judy Roll, and Assistant Principal Karen Bolinger, far left, have helped the school organize the donations which will go to needy families in the area.
