Chili Senior Center supports Lakeside Health System

To help celebrate the happiness of a baby's birth, the Chili Senior Center "Chain Gang" donated baskets of goodies for the new moms at Lakeside Hospital. The baskets each contain a hand crocheted blanket, toy, other infant products and a lot of love. According to the ladies of the Chili Senior Center no value can be placed on the gift, "just our love goes into it." About 13 members of the Chili Senior Center participated in the creation of the baskets. The "Chain Gang" started a little over a year ago and is continually growing. Members enjoy spending time with each other while working on their projects, but most of all they enjoy seeing the benefits their donations bring to the community.
