Churchville-Chili girls' varsity soccer team ranks nationally

The Churchville-Chili girls' varsity soccer team ranked 18 out of 25 of the top teams in the nation according to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The rankings are determined by a National Soccer Coaches Association of America committee and coaches from across the United States. The C-C girls' varsity soccer team will receive a plaque from the NSCA in January.

"Team chemistry was a major factor to this year's success both on and off the field," said C-C coach Nancy Thornton. Thornton has served as C-C girls' varsity coach for seven years and was recently named All Greater Rochester Coach of the Year.
