BOCES 2 students and staff deliver holiday cheer
The staff of the Communication and Technology Department of Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES together with the SkillsUSA VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America) students at the WE-MO-CO Career and Technical Education Center donated, collected and wrapped new toys for 25 children from Liberty Life of Orleans County. The gifts were given to the children at a holiday party at WE-MO-CO hosted by the SkillsUSA VICA students. Skills USA VICA is an international organization that promotes leadership and professional development for students enrolled in vocational education. VICA members participate in skill competitions at the state, national and international level, attend leadership conferences and sponsor social events and community service projects.
