Walkable Communities Committee
raises funds for benches

A fundraiser spearheaded by Brockport's Walkable Communities Committee member Carrie Maziarz generated funds for new benches to be placed in Brockport's downtown business district.

Maziarz, her husband, Peter, and three sons, managed a concession stand located inside Northside Automotive Service Center waiting room during the Santa Train weekend December 21-22. She and one of her children also sold snacks on board the Brockport to Medina ride.

Committee members Harry Shifton and Raymond Duncan also worked on the fundraiser.
