ALBION

•Floyd, Candy D., age 90, died January 10, 2004 at Medina Memorial Health Care System after a short illness. He is survived by his longtime companion Margaret Anderson; a son, Otis (Barbara Smith) Floyd of Albion; stepdaughter, Benny Mae Owens; grandson, Anthony Gray; two sisters, Emma Lee Floyd and Mabel Lewis both of Florida. He is predeceased by a brother and two sisters. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a retiree of Duffy Motts, Hamlin.

Funeral Services were held January 14 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials can be made to St. James Baptist Church, Rochester.


•Stephens, Maxine, 81, died January 8, 2004 at Medina Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She is survived by two sisters, Marie Halsey and Helen Barber both of New Jersey; brother, Edward Jones of North Carolina; nieces, nephews and devoted friend Matthew Thorton Jr. of Oakfield. She is predeceased by six brothers and two sisters. She was a member of St. Paul's Baptist Church.

Funeral Services were held January 12 at St. Paul's Baptist Church. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the charity of one's choice.


BERGEN

•Ayres, Marian Walsh "Nannie," On January 10, 2004. She was predeceased by her husband, George and son, George Jr. and is survived by her children, Jackie (Ronald) Board, William (Patricia), Richard (Linda), daughter-in-law, Karin Ayres; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass was held January 13 at the St. Brigid Church, Bergen. Contributions can be made to the St. Brigid Church of Bergen or the Bergen Fire Department.


BROCKPORT

•Foley, Paul J., On January 10, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Bernadine; his daughter, Mary (James) Julian; two grandchildren, Kelly and Lisa Julian; two brothers, William Funk, and John Richard; his sister, Margaret (Paul) Barry; several nieces, nephews and good friends. Predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Mattio.

A Funeral Mass was said January 13 at the Church of the Nativity, Brockport. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Lakeside Memorial Hospital in his memory.


HAMLIN

•Wiskerski, Sandra L. (Wisecup), January 9, 2004, age 60. Predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Joyce Ackler; son, Thomas Wisecup. Survived by her husband, Joe; children, Brenda (Chuck) McDonald, Lisa Ann (Joe) Kovacs; grandchildren, Stephen, Rhiannon, Nicholas, Cory, Charles, Nia, Kayliegh, A.J., Sarah, Zach, Lucas; sister, Patricia (Donald) Fiero of Texas.

Funeral Service were held January 12 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Spring inurnment, Forest Hill Cemetery, Attica. Contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in her memory.

•Lemmon, Eva Jean, January 11, 2004, age 83. Predeceased by her husband, George. Survived by her son, David (Gaynell) Lemmon; brother, Jerry (Marilyn) Nepple; sisters, Bernice Rossi, Betty Smeltzer; grandchildren, Scott Lemmon, David (Helen) Lemmon, Lynn (Mike Bower) Lemmon, Barbara (Wayne) Lewis; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held January 13 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Greenwood Memorial Park, Pennsylvania. Contributions can be made to Hilton Volunteer Fire Department in her memory.


•Raymond, Mary S. "Mamie," Peacefully, January 6, 2004, age 94. Predeceased by her husband, Leo; three sis-ters; one brother. Survived by her son, Roger (Judy) Raymond; grandson, Mark Alan Raymond; many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass was said January 10 at St. Leo Church. Memorial donations can be made to C.U.R.E. or Alzheimer's Association in her memory.


HOLLEY

•Anderson, Kenneth E., "Ken," Sr., 80, died on January 11, 2004 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Harry (Lisa) Anderson of Holley, John (Cathy) Anderson of Greece; a daughter, Audrey (Harry) Bower of Brockport; four grandchildren, John Jr. and Paige Marie Anderson of Greece, Audra (Nelson) Liberti of Florida, Harry J. (Kelli) Bower of Hamlin, Aaron Anderson of Murray; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son Ken Anderson Jr. "Skip" in 1978 and also three brothers, Pete, Louie, Gordon Anderson and a sister, Gladys. He was a WWII Army veteran, life member of Holley VFW, American Legion and a retiree of Delco.

Funeral Services were held January 13 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery in the spring with full military honors. Memorials can be made to Johns Hopkins University for pancreatic cancer research.


•Drennen, Clarence A. "Butch," Age 50, died suddenly January 11, 2004. Survived by devoted and loving wife of 23 years, Betty; proud father of Tina Yacono and Andy Yacono, both of Charlotte, North Carolina; beloved brother of Damon (Marie) Drennen of Brockport, Louise Kuhns of Elba, Susie (Lynn) Rushbrook, Patty (Chuck) Andrews, both of Albion; mother, Irene (Dick Mienhardt) Drennen of Albion; father and mother-in-law, David and Rita Yoffredo of Holley; sisters-in-law, Janet (Buddy) Passino, Patti Harold, both of Brockport; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Funeral Services were held January 15 at the Brockport Free Methodist Church. Private interment, Mt. Albion Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Lakeside Memorial Hospital or American Diabetes Association in his memory.


•Smalley, James D., January 10, 2004 at age 80. He was predeceased by his wife, June F. Smalley, his parents, Dwight and Jesse Smalley, brother Harold, sisters Jean Able and Althea DeGraff. He is survived by his daughter Yvonne (Michael) Hutt; sons William (Margaret) McGuigan and James McGuigan; five grandchildren, Jesse and Michael Hutt, Katie (Bruce) Gelletly, Brian (Julie) McGuigan and Melissa (David) Houde; great grandchildren Will, Ally, Brittany and Sabrina; his brother Edson (Irene) Smalley; sister Lorraine (Edward) Allen; many nieces, nephews and his special friend Marjorie Walter. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.

A Memorial Service will be announced in the spring. Contributions can be made to the American Lung Association, Finger Lakes Chapter, 1595 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620 in his memory.


NORTH CHILI

•Lambert, Berkeley D., January 6, 2004, age 99. Predeceased by wife, Susan Lambert, in 1987, son Robert L. Lambert, 2000 and daughter, Effie J. Bower, 2001. Survived by daughter Esther L. (Fred) Schreffler and son Donald M. (Faye) Lambert; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College and the University of Rochester. A retired minister of Western Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church.

•Corbett, Thelma M., (Panzer), January 4, 2004. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas M. Corbett and her son-in-law Thomas H. Schneider Sr. She is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Lou Schneider; her son, Fr. Thomas Corbett; and her daughter Patricia I. Jeffers; her grandchildren, Tom Jr. (Mary), Byron (Lori), Elizabeth, Susan (Tom) Battle, Nathan, Megan, Brad, Zachary, Amber, Rachel, Jacob, Rileigh and her dear friends.

•Howarth, Susan U., January 11, 2004 at age 65. Susan is survived by her husband, James; daughters, Terry (Steven) Russell and Tammy (Christopher) Vergara; sons, Todd (Patricia) Howarth and Thomas (Andrea) Howarth; sister, Mary (Douglas) Bartholomew; 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father and mother, Peter and Dorothy Uebelacker, and sister, Nancy Uebelacker Benetti. Susan had accomplishments in civic affairs in Spencerport and Ogden. She was the Treasurer and Secretary of Howarth/Earthborn Builders, and was an active member of the New York State Assessors Association for many years.

A Memorial Mass was said January 17 at St. Helen's Church, Hinchey Road. Memorial contributions can be made to the James Wilmot Cancer Center, Strong Memorial Hospital, GRHC/Hospice in her memory.


•Waters, Robert M., Suddenly, January 13, 2004 at age 64. He was predeceased by his parents, Wallace E. and Leona M. Waters (Merry). Survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sandra L. (Wilson) Waters; daughters Wende Tucker and Kimberly (Carl) Mastrella; son-in-law, Charles A. Tucker Jr.; grandchildren Robert Tucker, Karrie Mastrella and Kellie Tucker; beloved in- laws, William R. and Margaret Wilson; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wende Trott, Gail (Fred) Boyd Jr. and William R. Wilson Jr.; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Bob was a United States Postal Service letter carrier for 42 years and retired in May 2001. Member of Etolian Lodge 479 F.&A.M. and the Spencerport and Bergen Rod & Gun Clubs.
