Wingfest '04 decides best pizza and wings in area
Competition to benefit Easter Seals Campaign

SUNY College at Brockport and Friendly's Restaurant of Brockport are teaming up to host Pizza and WingFest 2004, Thursday, February 5, 6-10:30 p.m. at the Seymour College Union Ballroom on the SUNY Brockport campus. Pizza and WingFest 2004 is part of the college's Green and Gold Week, when SUNY Brockport celebrates its campus spirit.

Seventeen of the best pizza and wing vendors in the area will provide samples of their products to be voted on by attendees of the event. Participating vendors include: Friendly's Restaurant, Mark's Pizzeria, Flash's Tavern, Canal Side Pub, Dario's Famous Pizza, Pizza Hut, Tony's Pizzeria, Dalissa's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Hooters, Krony's Pizza, Uncle Sal's Pizza, Pontillo's, Parkway Pizza and Subs, Jim and Ralph's, Hooligans and DiRosato's.

The evening also includes an appearance by the Buffalo Jills cheerleaders, a chicken wing eating contest, and a raffle for a Caribbean cruise, donated by Anchors Away Travel Agency.

Admission to Pizza and WingFest 2004 is $6 pre-sale or $8 at the door, with all proceeds going to Easter Seals. Tickets may be purchased at any of the participating vendors, or at the Brockport Student Government Box Office on the SUNY Brockport campus. Admission includes samples from each vendor, beverages, door prizes and Karaoke from Brad London Productions.
