Butternut Twig donates medical equipment to Lakeside Memorial Hospital
The Butternut Twig group at Lakeside Memorial Hospital has donated medical equipment to support its Post Anesthesia Care Unit, or PACU. They donated $5,000 for the purchase of a Pulse Oximetry Module and Non-Invasive Blood Pressure Module. New and replacement medical equipment is a constant necessity for every hospital. This new equipment will enhance care in the PACU.
The six members of the Butternut Twig all reside in Holley. They joined together in 1977 to support Lakeside. Some of their fundraisers include a yard sale, baked food sale and working with other Twigs to sponsor the annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny. They also sponsored a trip to Toronto to see the show "Mama Mia" with travel arrangements coordinated through All Seasons Travel. The trip raised $1,000.
