Caswell, S. Earl, January 25, 2004, age 85. Predeceased by his wives, Georgianna and Dorothy; son, Bruce. Survived by his children, Stuart (Carol) Caswell, Olin Douglas (Peg) Caswell, Robert (Patricia) Caswell, Gary (Marcia) Caswell, Roger Gillette, Gary Gillette, Dale Gillette, Barbara Levitsky; brother, Thomas Caswell; sister, Eleanor Dickinson; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held January 29 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Restvale Cemetery, Seneca Falls. Contributions can be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice in his memory.
Knutowicz, Aloysius R., January 25, 2004 at age 90. Formerly of Rochester and Port Charlotte, Florida. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Olga Knutowicz and his daughter, Sharon Connelly. Survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Joyce Knutowicz of Spencerport; his grandchildren Michael (Rhonda) Knutowicz, Susan Knutowicz, Sean Connelly, Todd Knutowicz and Wendi (Michael) Tripi; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.

Thousand, Gilbert B., January 23, 2004 at age 75. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary. Survived by his sons, Edmond (Jeanie) and James; grandchildren, Jennifer Weissinger, Daniel and Amanda Thousand; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Bobzin, Margaret M., January 23, 2004. She is survived by her husband, Robert J.; her children Robert A. (Beverly), Vincent T., William J. and Vivian (Tim) Hare; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her brother, Tony (Emily) Baricevick; several nieces and nephews.

Manning, Richard C., Age 79, January 23, 2004. Survived by children, Patricia Root of Albion, Richard Manning Jr. of Texas and Becky Madigan of Brockport; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Predeceased by wife, Alice Manning in 1996 and by daughter, Alice Swanson in 2003.
A Graveside Service with military honors will be held in the spring at Lakeview Cemetery, Brockport. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in his memory.
Schlageter, Grace Helene (Drachler), On January 25, 2004 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her parents, two sisters and a grandson. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Andrew Bruce Schlageter of Brockport; daughters and their hus-bands, Ann and James Dahlheim of Laurel, Maryland, Kit Schlageter and Frederick Porter II of Brockport, Elizabeth and Scott Banner of Brockport; grandchildren, Andrew, Jesse and Kate Porter, James and Samuel Dahlheim, and William Banner; a sister, Ann English; and brother, William Drachler; several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of The School of Music at Ithaca College. Throughout her career, she taught music at Goshen, Utica, Mt. Morris, Geneseo State College and Kendall. She was senior choir director at St. Luke's Church in Brockport and organized junior choirs at St. Michael's Church in Geneseo and St. Luke's. Grace was a founding member of the Brockport Symphony, playing first violin for twenty-seven years. Grace shared her gift of music with hundreds of children in public school as a teacher and accompanist, church choir, and her private music studio. She was devoted to her students.

Smiraglia, Mary E., January 20, 2004, age 86. Predeceased by her parents, Isaac and Dollie Blodgett; sisters, Virgie Beehler, Vera Blodgett, Leora Maw. Survived by her children, Larry (Verna) Keppen, Roy (Carol) Keppen, Gloria (Larry) Deming; sister, Thelma Quaranto; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Osborne, Jack S., 80, formerly of Hilton, in Sebring, Florida on January 24, 2004. Survived by his wife of 57 years Betty (Bronson) in Sebring; daughters, Wendy (John) Becker of Kendall, Jacque (Charles) Meyer of Cocoa Beach, Florida, son Stephen J. of Ocala, Florida; granddaughters, Sarah (Nelson) Williams and Emily Becker and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Piccirilli, Anthony J. Sr., January 22, 2004. Sarazyn, Irene H. (Dolan), January 26, 2004 at age 74 at Beikirch Nursing Home. She is survived by her beloved husband, John of 53 years; sons, James Sarazyn, Thomas (Gwenn) Sarazyn; daughter, Colleen (Charles) Dearcop; granddaughters, Melissa, Heather, Emily and Natalie; grandsons, John and Joshua. Irene retired after 25 years of service from St. Mary's Hospital Emergency Room.
