Holland Elizabeth Gursslin of Brockport, a music education major at SUNY Potsdam was named to the dean's list for the fall 2003 semester.
To be named to the dean's list, a student must have completed 12 semester hours and have earned a grade point average of between 3.25 and 3.49.
Andrew Meyers, son of Gregg and Renee Meyers, Churchville, is named to the dean's list for the first semester of the 2003-04 school year at Hope College. To be named to the dean's list, a student must have a minimum 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Marisa Roach, a sophomore biology major at Houghton College, was named to the president's list for the fall 2003 semester.
The Spencerport resident was one of 63 students who earned a GPA of 4.0 and are carrying a full time course load of at least 12 semester hours.
Jay Gousman, Manitou Beach Road, Hilton, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering at the College of Engineering at Virginia Tech, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2003 semester. To qualify, students must attempt at least 12 credit hours graded on the A-F option and earn a 3.4 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) during the semester.
Lisa Flow, daughter of Vince and Barbara Flow of Kendall, has been named to the 2003 fall dean's list at Le Moyne College in Syracuse. Flow, a member of the class of 2001, graduated from Kendall High School. She is majoring in biology.
Amber Lehman, a sophomore majoring in adolescent education and mathematics at Houghton College and a Churchville resident, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2003 semester. To be eligible, students must carry a full time course load of at least 12 hours and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Christina Emerson, a senior educational ministries major at Houghton College, and a Spencerport resident, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2003 semester. To be eligible, students must carry a full time course load of at least 12 hours and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Michelle Bloser, a junior mathematics major at Houghton College and a resident of North Chili, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2003 semester. To be eligible, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher and carry a full time course load of 12 or more hours.

Jennifer L. Buttery, the daughter of Janet and Jess Buttery of Saint Katherine Way in Brockport, has been named to the dean's list at Hamilton College for the 2003 fall semester. A student is placed on the dean's list for earning an average of 90 or above during the term.
A sophomore at Hamilton, Buttery is a graduate of Brockport High School.
Marine Corps Pfc. Somnang Stolfa, son of Sareth and Rodolfo Stolfa of Brockport, completed the Basic Assault Amphibian Vehicle Crewman's Course.
During the course with Assault Amphibian School Battalion, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California, students prepare for assignment to assault amphibian units where landing crafts are used to transport troops and supplies from ship to beachhead for subsequent operations ashore.
Stolfa is a 2002 graduate of Brockport High School and joined the Marine Corps in May 2003.
