USCG Academy scholarships open to juniors
Applications are now being taken for high school juniors who want to find out more about life at a military academy and are interested in a career as an officer in the United States Coast Guard.
AIM (Academy Introductory Mission) offers a taste of the training that could lead to qualification for a full four year college scholarship to the United States Coast Guard Academy. Should one qualify and be chosen to attend AIM, they will be able to experience a week of officer training. AIMsters will have the opportunity to meet coaches of their sport one-on-one, experience the academic and class room setting, and participate in on-water work Coast Guard performs every day.
Applications are being accepted until March 30.
