Brockport Schools in session - March 12
Students in the Brockport Central School District will have school on March 12. The day, originally scheduled as a workday for teachers and staff only, will now be a regular day of student attendance.
Public schools in New York State are required to have a minimum of 180 days of student attendance in a year. "If the three snow days are the only emergency closings for the remainder of this school year, we will meet the state's required minimum attendance with two days in reserve," said Superintendent of Schools James C. Fallon. "But unfortunately, we cannot predict what will happen between now and the end of the year."
