Halter, Rodas pace Eagles
Christine Halter scored ten points with eight rebounds and five blocks and Stacy Rodas added ten points with six rebounds as Kendall celebrated Senior Night with a 50-25 trouncing over Oakfield-Alabama in high school girl's basketball.
With the score tied 8-8 after the quarter, the Eagles outscored the Hornets 12-6 in the second quarter with nine of the 12 points from Trisha D'Agostino and Biance Smith off the bench.
In the second half, the Eagles stepped up their defense and dominated the boards limiting the Hornets to just 11 points. Meanwhile they were scoring 30 on the offensive side including all six points from Jen Overfield in the fourth quarter as the Eagles scored the final 14 points of the game.
Sarah Gaylord scored nine points, D'Agostino finished with eight and Smith chipped in seven points for Kendall, who improved to 8-9 on the season with one game remaining before the Section Five playoffs. Seniors playing their final home game on Senior Night were Nicole MacKensie and Jen Overfield.
