BOCES 2 staff holds clothing drive for adult students

Office professionals at Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES sponsored a clothing drive to help adult students at BOCES 2's Center for Workforce Development (CWD) who are reentering the workforce.

BOCES 2 staff donated gently used business attire for the adult students. Nancy McDade, administrative assistant in Human Resources, chaired the project with help from all departments. Kayleen Burgio, administrative assistant at the Center for Workforce Development, accepted all the clothing donations and organized a display so students could select the items they needed. "Our goal was to help adult students going into the workforce to upgrade their professional wardrobe," said McDade.

The BOCES 2 Office Professionals who sponsored the clothing drive are members of the New York State Association of Educational Office Professionals.
