AREA
Hardy, Theodore "Ted," On February 16, 2004 at age 95. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Myra (Gallup); sons, John (Bonnie) and Richard; daughter, Carole (Peter) Brevorka; grandchildren, Joshua, Molly and Kate Hardy, Jennifer and Jillian Brevorka; sisters-in-law, Helen Myers and Marsha (Pete) Mosher; and several nieces and nephews. Ted was a Navy veteran of WWII and a 54 year member of the Brockport American Legion.
A Private Memorial Service was held. Contributions can be made to the North Greece Volunteer Fire Department or the Greece Police Department in his memory.
BROCKPORT
Nogle, Gladys "June," Suddenly, February 18, 2004. June is predeceased by three brothers. She is survived by her partner of 28 years, Carol Maddalena; three brothers; six sisters; many nieces and nephews and special niece June. June was a Laboratory Manager at United Memorial Hospital in Batavia and co-owner of CJ Farms of Brockport.
A Funeral Service was held February 23 at New Comer Family Funeral Home, Rochester. Private interment.
Ward, James R., On February 19, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Marion; his children, Lynn Justice, Renee (John) Pace, Denise (Kenneth) Devlin, Nancy (Timothy) Crawford, Valerie (Michael) Bubb; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Irene and Emmajean; brother, Edward (Jenny); several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held February 23 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Brockport. Spring interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Holley. Contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association in his memory.
CHILI
Potter, Alene Bannister, February 9, 2004 at age 88 after a 12 year struggle with Alzheimer's. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Clayton; daughter Betty Reed; sons George (Loreen) and Raymond; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister Ruth Lenhardt; niece Carol Lenhardt; nephew Frank (Joan) Lenhardt; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and sister-in-laws, Genevieve Stewart and Lois Potter of Steuben County.
She was a teacher and librarian for 30 years at Chili #3, Florence Brasser School and Neil Armstrong Elementary. She was active in various community organizations including the public libraries and historical societies in Chili and Scottsville, the Chili Grange, and the Twirlers Square Dance Club.
Funeral Services were private.
CLARENDON
Gallup, Imogene C., Age 87, died February 23, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Seward F. Gallup. Loving mother of Norman (Elayne) Gallup, Earl (Kathie) Gallup, Evelyn (Norman) Gibson, all of Byron. Sister of Richard (Lorraine) Didget of Batavia. Sister-in-law of Charles Beach of Clarendon, Carrie Didget of Stafford and Dorothy Didget of Indiana. Seven grandchildren, Todd (Stacy) Gallup and Gina (Jerald) DeLelys, all of Elba, Lee and Nicole Gallup, both of Clarendon, Darrel (Carrie) Gibson of Wayland, Natalie (Mark) Oliver of LeRoy and Clarissa Gallup of Byron; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and her special cousin, Vera Corwin of Batavia. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Janice Gibson; great-grandson, Joseph DeLelys; her brothers, Walter, Harold and Lloyd Didget and her sisters, Dorothy Cole, Joyce Beach and Ella Didget.
Funeral Services were held February 27 at Gilmartin Funeral Home Inc., Batavia. Burial in North Byron Cemetery. Contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in her memory.
Klein, William R., February 18, 2004, age 60. Predeceased by his mother and father, Florence and Elmer Klein. Survived by a large family of friends. He was a Radio Personality and Entertainment critic. Bill was a devoted community advocate, co-founder of the Heart of Gold Children's Foundation and a Board Member of the Rochester Broadway Theater League.

Hoff, Catherine A., February 22, 2004. Survived by her husband, Eric; sons, Jason Tebo, John (Sara Huber) Tebo; grandchildren, Megan and Jason Jr.; mother and father, John and Margaret Pfromm; brothers, John C. (Patty) Pfromm, Mark Pfromm; sister, Sharon (Anthony) Cammarano; many nieces and nephews.

Post, Eleanor D. Jones, (Ellie) (Gussie), February 20, 2004 at the age of 74. Predeceased by her first husband, Richard G. Jones. She is survived by her husband, Eugene R. Post; her children Michael Jones, Robin (Greg) Catlin, Lori (Elmer) Seiler, Tom (Janine) Post, Garry Post and Katrine Langset of Oslo, Norway; her grandchildren, Laura, Shaun and Christopher Jones, Sara and Ryan Catlin, Caryn and Douglas Seiler, Emily (Tony) Lanza, Claire Post, Jennifer and Jason Post; great-grandchildren MiKayla and Patrick Seiler; her sisters, Gloria Allen and Joyce (Thomas) Plucknette; her brother, Gerald Dean; sisters-in-law, Wilma Dean, Doris Jones and Delores Ainsworth; several nieces and nephew. Ellie was a member of the Belles & Beaus Square Dance Club.

HOLLEY
Wahl, David J., Age 43, died February 24, 2004. David loved cooking, being active in the Boy Scouts of America and was an avid fisherman. In addition to his parents, Joseph and Charlotte, he is survived by his brothers, J. Douglas Wahl; sisters, Eileen (Michael) McFadden, Charlene Wollschleger; half-brother, Tony Camelio; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Woodcock, Jerry L, age 52, died February 18, 2004 after a lengthy illness. He is predeceased by his parents Henry T. and Elizabeth Stamp Howes. He is survived by his significant other of 11 years Mary Ellen Hamill; sister, Beverly Stamp-Salisbury of Albion; two brothers, Ken (Mabel) Stamp of Verona, and Leon Stamp, Rochester; two nieces, Connie Stamp of West Seneca, Mary Pat (Lewis) Schmunk of Central Square; eight nephews, David (Sue) Stamp of Poughkeepsie, Edward (Kim) Goodwin of Albion, Duane (Corrine) Stamp of Verona, Shawn Stamp of Hulberton, Alan (Jen) Stamp of Albion, Donald Stamp of Syracuse, Michael (Sarah) Tower of Albion, Zacharia (Karen) Tower of Albion; aunt, April Nettnin of Florida; several cousins. SPENCERPORT
Knoebel, Herbert, February 18, 2004 at the age of 69. Survived by his wife Patricia of 43 years; his four chil-dren, Thomas (Kimberlee), Teresa (Gregory) Mueller, Timothy (Nikki) and Thekla (Jason) Polito; his grand-children, Joseph, Lauren, Beatrice, Karla, Miles, Riese, Nicholas and Kiera; his sisters Marion (Henry) Boesch and Gertrude (John) Klemmer; brother-in-law, Charles Reeners; several nieces and nephews. He was prede-ceased by his sisters Lieselotte Reeners and Ursula Knoebel. Herbert worked for Eastman Kodak Elmgrove department 84 for 25 years.
