fire department SUNY College at Brockport President Paul Yu (right) presented a $5,000 donation to the Village of Brockport Volunteer Fire Company March 2. Accepting the check on behalf of the Fire Department was Fire Chief Christian McCullough, along with Village Mayor Josephine Matela, who were joined by members of the Fire and Ambulance Corps. Other representatives of the college included Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs Ray DiPasquale. Leaders of the towns of Sweden and Clarkson and other community members were also in attendance. Donations to the fire department by the college had previously been made in 1998, 2000 and 2002. With the donation from SUNY Brockport to the Fire Department, college representatives said they acknowledged their gratitude to staff of the Fire Department and Ambulance Service for their service to the students, faculty and staff of the Brockport campus for the year just concluded and the year ahead. |
