Hilton kindergarten registration March 15-16
Full-day kindergarten opens in September '04

Registration for incoming September 2004 kindergarteners into the Hilton Central School District will be held March 15-16. Hilton's full-day kindergarten program opens in September. All schools, Northwood Elementary School, Village Elementary School and Quest Elementary School, will have full-day programs. Information packets for incoming kindergarten families were mailed the first week in March. Children whose fifth birthday falls on or before December 1 following the start of the school year in September are eligible to attend kindergarten.

Parents and guardians of four or five-year olds who will be attending kindergarten and did not receive a letter from the Hilton School District, can call the District Census office at 392-1000 extension 7031 to have a packet mailed. Parents of Hilton kindergarteners have the option of electing a half-day program if they believe that it would best meet the needs of their child. Parents who choose this option must provide transportation home for their child at mid-day. Their child may enter the full-day program at any time during the year.
