MCHSHL honors ten area players
Five area players were named first team all-stars and five more to the second team when the Monroe County High School Hockey league announced the 2003-04 all-star nominations.
Churchville-Chili goaltender Jeremy Rossignolo and defenseman Brad Gurbacki were selected in the White Division after leading the Saints to their best season ever with a 14-5-1 overall record and a fourth place finish in their division. Hilton defenseman Adam Lynch and forward Jon Fose were also named to the first team in the division with teammate Jake Burge the second team goaltender. The Cadets finished the season tied for second place and 13-3-2 overall. Spencerport forward Chris Mark was named to the second team and Churchville-Chili's Joe Eisenhauer received the Pugliese Sportsmanship Award.
In the Red Division, Brockport senior Craig Willis was named one of the forwards on the first team while defenseman Matt Popen and forward Jarod Miner were selected for the second team. Brockport finished the regular season in second place with a 15-5 overall record.
