Nicholas Earnhart scored a perfect 4.0 and received dean's list and semester honors for the fall 2003 semester at Purdue University. A sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering, with a graduating index of 3.69, Earnhart is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Earnhart of Hilton.

This spring Earnhart is serving a semester of co-op internship with GE Industrial Systems in Ft. Wayne Indiana.


Lindsay St. Lucia of Chili is a new account executive at Martino Flynn, LLC. St. Lucia will be responsible for day-to-day management of various client accounts, including Celltech Pharmaceuticals and Morgan Stanley.

St. Lucia joins Martino Flynn from Euro RSCG Life Becker in Manhattan, where she specialized in pharmaceutical marketing and advertising. As account executive, she was responsible for managing marketing communications activities for major national pharmaceutical companies, including Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.


Jacqueline Van DeWater, a student at Nazareth College, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2003 semester.

A Spanish major, she is the daughter of Ed and Barb VanDeWater of Churchville and a 2003 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School.


Valerie VanDeWater, daughter of Ed and Barb VanDeWater of Churchville, earned a bachelor's degree in business administration in December 2003 from SUNY Brockport and Monroe Community College. She is a 2000 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School.


Lisa Barker, a student at Nazareth College, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2003 semester.

An art education major, she is the daughter of David and Debbie Barker of Churchville and a 2003 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School.


Kelly Jo Smith, of Hilton, recently began work on her first service project with the National Civilian Community Corps, an AmeriCorps program.

Smith trained in Denver, Colorado and will serve 10 months of full time service. She attended Hilton High School and Nazareth College.

AmeriCorps NCCC members must complete at least 1,700 hours of service during 10 months. In exchange for service, they received money to help pay for college.

She is the daughter of Larry and Barb Speer.


Jake Moskal, son of Dave and Edie Moskal of Ogden, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2003 semester at the State University of New York at Albany. He is a junior majoring in economics and a second major in philosophy.

To be eligible for the dean's list, students must achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) during the semester.


Ryan Weidel of Hilton was named to the dean's list with honors at Lancaster Bible College for the fall 2003 semester.

Honors dean's list students must earn between 3.5 and 3.74 average on a 4.0 grade point scale.


Matthew J. Dudek, a sophomore majoring in French and history at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, has been named to the dean's list for the 2003 fall semester. A graduate of Brockport High School, he is the son of Gary and Mary Ann Dudek of Brockport.

All students earning a position on the dean's list, a recognition of academic excellence, must have a grade point average of 3.7 or above on a 4.0 GPA scale for the semester.


David Hossenlopp, a junior at the University of Michigan, was placed on the dean's list for the fall 2003 semester.
The dean's honor list is for those students who completed 12 credits or more and earned a grade point average of 3.5 or better for the term.

A naval architecture and marine engineering major, he is the son of James and Roberta Hossenlopp of Spencerport and a 2001 graduate of Spencerport High School.


Lissa A. Palermo, the daughter of Richard and Laurie Palermo of Westside Drive in Rochester, is participating in Hamilton College's Alternative Spring Break program in March. Palermo will be traveling to Cumberland Trail site in Crossville, Tennessee. Participants will be split into groups with students from other universities and AmeriCorps members in order to construct brand new sites.

Hamilton College's Alternative Spring Break Program, an intensive volunteer experience that occurs over Hamilton's spring break, includes six trips totaling more than 50 students who will head south to work for community betterment and social change. This year, all sites are in rural communities.

Palermo, a senior at Hamilton College, is a graduate of Churchville-Chili Senior High School.


For the second consecutive month, Robert Malone, office manager for Nothnagle's Chili-Ogden office, presented Joan Greeno with Sales Person of the Month Award. She earned almost $600,000 in production for the month of November 2003.

At a separate awards breakfast on February 5, Greeno was honored as one of the Top Ten Agents for 2003 . She has consistently been one of the highest producing agents for Nothnagle's Chili-Ogden's office. Joan Greeno has also earned Top Lister for the month of February 2004 at the Chili-Ogden Nothnagle office.
