•Morton, Harold T., age 85, March 13, 2004. Survived by wife of 63 years, Corabell; children, Laurie (Francis) Hillman, Rickie (Cindy), Betty (Richard) Connelly; grandchildren, Tony, Michelle (Glenn), Adam, Melissa, Jason, Rickie, Denise, Jerilyn, Mark; several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held March 17 at Barre Center Presbyterian Church. Interment, Mt. Albion Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the church, the Barre Fire Company or Hospice of Orleans in his memory.

•Hoben, Anne Julia Bo, age 73, in Monticello, Georgia March 13, 2004. Predeceased by her loved husband Hank. Beloved mother of Juli (Chuck) Jones, Scott (Karen) Hoben and John (Beth) Hoben. Specially loved by her grandchildren Beth Jones (predeceased), Chris (Michelle) Jones, Allan and Angela Hoben, Grace, Eden and Audriana Hoben. Great-grandmother to Maggie and Kate Jones and Orion Ashley. Sister-in-law to Betty (Howard) Bo, Marilyn (Bobby) Fitzmaurice. Aunt to Howard, Christy (predeceased) and Lesa Bo. Billy, Robin, Stephen (predeceased), Michael and Lisa Fitzmaurice. Second Mom to Brian and Debbie Shea of St. Thomas, USVI. Special friend of Chriss and Wendy Andrews of Brockport, Jim and Maryann Berardinelli of Atlanta, Neil and Sugar Newman of Hamlin and many more. Summer Mom and Grama to all her friends in Hamlin.

A Memorial Service was held March 18 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Brockport. Donations can be made to Lakeside Hospital Foundation or St. Luke's Episcopal Church in her memory.


•Rosecrants, Mary A., Black Mountain, North Carolina. Age 91, formerly of Brockport, died March 9, 2004 at Highland Farms Retirement Center in Black Mountain. She was predeceased by sister Katherine (Paul) Jacobson; brother William J. (Arlene) Rosecrants, Jr. She is survived by her nieces, Joan Pereyra, and her husband, Herb, MaryLou (Stephen, dec.) Rosecrants, Mary K. Rosecrants; great niece, Elizabeth Stull; great nephews, Jack, Tom, Mark MacDonough, Brian Pereyra, William S. Rosecrants.

A Memorial Service was held March 20 at Highland Farms Retirement Center in Black Mountain. A private service will be held in Union Springs, New York at a later date. Contributions can be made to the American Red Cross or to one's favorite charity in her memory.


CHURCHVILLE

•Culhane, John P. "Jack", died March 8, 2004 at home peacefully with his family at age 81. Survived by his devoted wife, Sheila Ruth Culhane; children, John P. Culhane Jr., Elaine Culhane, Susan Zammito, Brian C. Culhane, Patricia Culhane, Meg (Kenneth) Nielsen, Catherine (Charles) Dickenson and Elizabeth (Paul) Slater; 18 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Katie Culhane. A veteran of WWII, retired after 36 years at Eastman Kodak Company as manager of Government Markets.

A Funeral Mass was said March 13 at St. Christopher's Church, North Chili. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations can be made to St. Christopher's Building Fund, 3350 Union Street, P.O. Box 399, North Chili, NY 14514 in his memory.


CLARKSON

•Waller, Charles J., of Heuvelton, New York on March 9, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Laurie (Chris) Wood, Charles J. III (Val Baase), Scott (Robin), Shari Miller (Scott O'Hara), John; 12 grandchildren; his brother, Richard and sister, Arlene Waye; several nieces and nephews. Charles is a retiree of Eastman Kodak.

A Memorial Service was held March 21, 2004 at the First Congregational Church in Spencerport. Con-tributions can be made to the American Heart Association or the Cancer Society in his memory.

•Roberts, Ernest J., March 15, 2004 age 85. Predeceased by his son, Kenneth. Survived by his wife, Margret; son, Ernest, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Bill Mikels; grandchildren, Kira, Laura, Valerie; niece, Angela (Alan) Bartlow; nephew, Rick DiLuca.

•Tartaglia, Sharon Sue, March 11, 2004 at the age of 51. Predeceased by her father Paul Mascari. Survived by her husband Antonio "Tony" Tartaglia; daughters Michelle (Michael) Marino and Erica Tartaglia; mother Frances Mascari; sister of Janice Mascari, Deanna (Frank) Veltri. Clarice (Michael) Lazary, Steven (Deanna) Mascari and Valerie (Lee) Kaiser; brother-in-law Mario (Lena) Tartaglia; sister-in-law Teresa (Leno) Sorvillo; nieces and nephews Teresa, Rocco, Alexander, Max, Jacob, Timothy, Zoe and Carson; many friends; co-workers at Wegmans.

HOLLEY

•Mosher, Frank H., 80, a resident of the NYS Veteran's home in Batavia, died April 16, 2003 at United Memorial Medical Center after a long illness. He was a co-owner of Empire Fence in Rochester before retiring in 1991. He is predeceased by his wife, Roberta. Surviving are step sisters,Emily Mosher of South Carolina, Livina Mosher of Holley, Lavetta Mosher of Brockport; nieces, Alice Gabel, Sue (Stark) Lowery, Victoria (Drew) Monroe all of Kentucky; nephew Martin (Pam) Buccinna of LeRoy; several great-great nieces and nephews; and special friends at the NYS Veteran's Home. A brother, Walter Mosher, and nephew, John Buccinna, predeceased him.


SPENCERPORT

•Quanz, Leo J., March 15, 2004, at age 81. He was predeceased by his daughter, Barbara, his brother, Walter; sisters Geneieve McCarrick and Cecelia Ernst. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Helen S. Quanz; his children, Leo M. (Susan) Quanz, Joanne (Vinny) Vinjamuri and Bernard (Joanne) Quanz; his grandchildren, Lisa and Brian Quanz, Michelle and Rachel Vinjamuri; brothers, Martin (Constance) Quanz and Clarence Quanz; sisters, Rosella Rauber and Agnes Becker; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co.

A Funeral Mass was said March 19 at St. John's Church, Spencerport. Interment, St. John's Cemetery. Friends may have Masses offered.


•Staub-Buyze, Gail, March 14, 2004 at age 63, after a very courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Isaac J. Buyze; her children Laurie (James) Rivers, David (Susan) Staub; step children Diane (Tom) Buchiere, Debbie (Scott) Holmes and Dawn (Dan) Leask; her sister Carol Pickworth; her brother Ernest (Carol) Miller; her 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Gail was a member of the Spencerport Garden Club.

Funeral Services were held March 18 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Interment, Creekside Cemetery, Churchville. Donations can be made to Churchville Lions Club, P.O. •Thompson, John W., age 83, of New Port Richey, Florida died Thursday, March 4, 2004. Born in Garland, New York he moved to Florida 18 years ago from Spencerport. He was a pipefitter for Eastman Kodak and veteran WWII U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a member of the B.P.O. Elks 2284 and V.F.W. Chester McKay Post #7987, New Port Richey. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Virginia; son, Michael Thompson, New Port Richey; daughter, Mary Ann DeVries, Rochester; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.


•Watt, Betty Jean (Betsy), of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Spencerport. Predeceased by husband, Gordon and parents, Ben and Ann Everett. Survived by Carl Snyder, and sister, Mrs. Warren (Mary Ann) Hewes.

Burial was March 10, 2004 in Punta Gorda, Florida. Memorial donations can be directed to Spencerport High School Scholarship Fund in her memory.


NORTH CHILI

•Tarricone, Laura, March 11, 2004 at age 84. Pre-deceased by her parents, Conciglia and Chris Tarricone; step mother, Nancy Tarricone; brother, Carl; sister, Vincenza; special friend Nunzio. She is survived by her sister, Soffen (Frank) Caldarola; sister-in-law, Nancy Tarricone; brother-in-law, Rocco Della Rosa; aunt, Jean (Frank) Camelio; several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

A Funeral Mass was said March 15 at Holy Name of Jesus Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association in her memory or masses can be offered for the response of her soul.
