Spencerport's day care transportation deadline April 1

Parents who would like to have transportation to and from day care providers for children in the Spencerport Central School District need to notify the district Transportation Office by April 1.

All parents/guardians must reapply each year for transportation. The district offers transportation to any day care provider within the school district. The official form is available at the elementary schools, the transportation office and on the website, www.spencerportschools.org (click on Inside Spencerport).

"Even if parents are not sure of which day care location they will use, they still must notify us by April 1 to let us know of their intention to have their children transported to a location other than their home," said Michael Proukou, district director of transportation. "They can contact us later with a destination once they have confirmed their arrangements."
