Radiologist to speak at Wellness Center

Dr. Stamatia V. Destounis, a staff radiologist at the Elizabeth Wende Breast Clinic, will speak on the topic of New and Old Technologies in Diagnostic Radiology/Mammography on Thursday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Family Wellness Center/Lakeside Memorial Hospital at 156 East Avenue, Brockport. The public is welcome and admission is free.

Dr. Destounis has lectured throughout the United States, served on area health panels, published articles in the field of breast cancer treatment, and teaches at the University of Rochester, where she is a clinical assistant professor of radiology.

The program is hosted by the Brockport Breast Cancer Survivor Group that meets the first Thursday of the month of 7:30 p.m. at the Wellness Center. For information, please call Irma Pylyshenko at 585-467-5365.
