Cosgrove OM team places third

Spencerport's Ada Cosgrove Middle School Odyssey of the Mind team placed third in the state tournament held at SUNY Binghamton on Saturday, March 13. Odyssey of the Mind is a creative competition where teams solve long term and short term problems to score points. The Cosgrove team chose a problem that involved building a structure from balsa wood and glue that would hold weight. The structure had to be bigger on the top than at the base. It had to be able to fit into an 8 x 8 square, but weigh less than 16 ozs.
