National Champions

The Brockport High School Varsity Cheerleaders participated in the National Cheerleading Championships in Williamsburg, Virginia on March 21. They took home the National Champions Title in the Large Co-Ed Varsity Division. On Sunday, February 29, the BHS Varsity competed in New York State Championships in Utica, New York. They also took home the New York State Champs title in their division. At the cheerleaders' banquet in early March, the MVP Award was given to Cori Harris. Outstanding Leadership awards were given to Shana Nesbitt, Whitney Dupra and Kellie Wright. The Scholar Athlete awards were given to Danielle Emerick and Most Improved Award went to Christina Heath. The BHS Varsity includes: Seniors: Christie Bower, Mary Dailey, Whitney Dupra, Kelly Dauphinee, Cori Harris, Shana Nesbitt and Kellie Wright. Other team members are: T.J. Cond, Katherine Daniels, Shauna Delahanty, Ryan Eller, Danielle Emerick, Alena Gillette, Christina Heath, Amber Hermance, Jessica Jubenville, Jessica Knapp, Sarah Lauth, Heather Moore, Jamie Russo, Danielle Sulyma and Krista Urbanczyk.
