The Hilton Varsity Cheerleading Team, coached by Laurie Miller, took first place in division I at the Monroe County Tournament. Karlie Donlon was named to First Team All County and Danielle Billiotti, Kristina Brizee and Rachel Schmerbeck were named to Second Team All County. The team took third place in the Advanced Division at the Greater Rochester Cheerleading Competition. The following week the girls came back and took first place at the Section V Championship. They were named Class AAA champions. This is the first time in the AAA division since it is a new classification this season. In February, the team traveled to Ocean City, Maryland to compete in a National American Cheer and Dance Competition. They placed second in the competition. The team consisted of eleven seniors, nine juniors, and seven sophomores. Members are Tara Ata, Stephanie Benway, Danielle Billiotti, Kristina Brizee, Rachel Bronson, Melissa Burritt, Liz Collichio, Amanda Cooper, Alex Cortese, Jenna Crampton, Karlie Donlon, Tara Duchyns, Christine Farrand, Jessica Ferger, Jamie Fertitta, Jessica Frisbee, Amanda Giambrone, Deina Heffron, Rachel Jesien, Stephanie Palermo, Shannon Popowich, Nicole Ramble, Kristen Royal, Rachel Schmerbeck, Stefanie Ventura, Sara Wagner and Alexa Wray. |
