set to begin Assemblyman Bill Reilich, standing alongside of the now empty Erie Canal, reminds constituents in his district that starting next week, bouys will be placed in the canal and that the process of re-filling the canal for the 2004 season will begin. The canal will be "open for business and pleasure" officially on May 1, 2004. Reilich is glad that the canal will once again be active and vital and is optimistic that many boaters will take advantage of the wonderful sights, shopping and entertainment op-portunities that are available for them along the canal path. Assemblyman Reilich represents residents living in the towns of Greece, Ogden, and Sweden in the 134th District of the New York State Assembly. |
