AREA
May, Douglas J., April 21, 2004. Survived by four children, Kevin, Kaitlin, Erin and Meghan; his mother, Maureen May of Lockport; brother, Jim (Patti) of Lockport; two nieces and two nephews. Doug was a highly respected member of the soccer community, who coached at both RIT and Nazareth College.
A Funeral Mass was said April 26 at St. Pius the Tenth Church. Donations can be made to Doug May's Memorial Fund, c/o Pete Bothner at Nazareth College, 4245 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618.
ALBION
Harner, Allen William, infant son of Bill and Dana Harner, died April 23, 2004 in Lakeside Memorial Hospital. In addition to his parents, Allen is survived by a brother, Ryan Harner at home; his maternal grandparents, Duane and Sharon Engle of Colorado; his paternal grandparents, Bill and Mary Harner of Holley; maternal great grandmother, Catherine Smith of Rochester; maternal great grandfather, John Engle of Albion; paternal grandmother, Lucille Harner of Holley; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Funeral Service was held April 28 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Albion. Interment, Mount Albion Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the family.
Hopson, Louise A.K. (Niver), April 25, 2004, at age 80. She was predeceased by her husband of 18 years, Charles Hopson; her beloved first husband Harry Niver; her sister Mary Boehnke; her brothers Karl and Henry Keil. She is survived by Harry's children and grandchildren; her brother Richard (Jane) Keil and many loving and devoted nieces and nephews.

Kruze, Helen, April 25, 2004 at age 88. Predeceased by her husband Leo P. Kruze and her son, Tom A. Kruze. She is the beloved mother of John A. Kruze, Leo (Jody) Kruze, Pat (Dale) Andrewson, James (Patti) Kruze and Mary Andrews; her grandchildren Michelle, Steve, Jonathan, Dylan and four great grandsons; her sister Mary E. Sullivan; her niece Kate Sullivan; other family members Elaine and Pierre Roudet and Rene Kruze including many dear, devoted and loving friends. Helen was a member of the Churchville-Chili School Board for 31 years and BOCES #2 board for 15 years.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated April 26 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Churchville. Interment, St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Webster Comfort Care Home, 700 Holt Road, Webster, NY 14580 in her memory.
HAMLIN
Brehse, Robert F., age 61, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, formerly of Hamlin, died Thursday, April 8, 2004. Born December 9, 1942 in Albion, he was a graduate of Kendall High School and Valparaiso University. Surviving are his wife, Sandra K. Brehse of Fort Wayne; sons, Michael F. Brehse of White Lake, Michigan and Matthew R. Brehse of Fort Wayne; brother, Charles Brehse of Carlisle, Iowa; sister, Kathleen Noon of Hamlin; and one granddaughter, Megan Brehse of White Lake, Michigan.
Funeral Services were held April 13 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Memorials can be made to ARC or American Heart Association.
HILTON
Johnson, William A., April 17, 2004, age 77. Survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Kate (Tony) Jackson, Lisa (John) Schantz, Sarah (Pete) Gallivan; grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph, Kelly, Brenna, Rachel, Ben, Hannah; sister, Eleanor (Hugh) Morse; sisters and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews.

Wright, George J., April 22, 2004, age 93. Predeceased by his wife, Laura. Survived by his children, Glen (Elsie) Wright, Beverly Klafehn, Mary High; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.

Hancock, Katherine "Kitty Petras," April 21, 2004, at age 64. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Hancock. She is survived by her mother, Margaret T. Moore; her sister Marie (Nick) Russo of Fairport; her brother Terence J. (Patricia) Petras of Brockport; her nieces Alexis Russo and Pamela (John) Meyer; her nephew Mark (Jenny) Petras; four great nieces; a great nephew and many dear relatives and friends. She was a retiree of Johnson & Johnson Co.

Siwicki, Hortense "Betty," Ft. Collins, Colorado; April 19, 2004, age 83, formerly of Spencerport. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph; son, Leon; three brothers. Survived by her children, Catherine Vanderhoff, Audrey (Bob) Dibble, Maureen (Tom) VanNess, Jacqueline Siwicki, and life partner, Linda Cala; brother, William Bashaw; sisters, Louise Conley, Lorraine Tranello; grandchildren, Lisa, Leanne, Carrie, Alicia, Ryan and Tommy; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Jorden, Kayden and Gracie.
