Fourth graders build birdhouses

As a community service project, the fourth graders at St. John the Evangelist School in Spencerport decided to make two birdhouses for the school yard. They wanted their project to help the environment, so they decided to help the wildlife.

One of the room parents, Mr. Johnson, prepared the supplies and then assisted the class in creating the birdhouses. The birdhouses were completed in one afternoon and were placed in the schoolyard that same day. The birdhouses are located outside the fourth and second grade windows. You can stop and take a look, but please do not disturb the bird's new home.
