Kendall students receive National Student Athlete Awards
On April 6, Kendall Jr./Sr. High School participated in the celebration of National Student Athlete Day. This day was created to honor student athletes who have pursued excellence both in the classroom and on the playing field, while having made significant contributions to their schools and/or communities.
The event is nationally recognized and is co-sponsored by the National Consortium for Academics and Sports, Northeastern University's Center for Study of Sport in Society, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). In order for student athletes to receive this award, they must be in grades 9-12, maintain at least a B average, and be committed to their school and/or community.
Nineteen Kendall students were honored with this award.
