Dorney, Walzer lead Kendall

Joe Dorney and Ian Walzer won their first doubles match to give Kendall a 3-2 victory over Holley in high school tennis.

Dorney and Walzer won 7-6, 6-1 to sweep the doubles matches after Regina Catalino and Zach Babcock won at second doubles 6-4, 6-2. Tyger Northrup won at second singles for the Eagles 6-4, 6-2.

For the Hawks, Andrew Grillo won his first singles match 6-4, 6-2 and Yuri Soshchik swept his third singles match 6-0, 6-0.

Kendall improved to 2-1 while Holley fell to 2-4 this season.
