Captain Steven C. Edsall congratulates his cousin, Jason Hasenauer, after having sworn him into the U.S. Army on April 14, in Syracuse. Captain Edsall, the son of Chet and Kathy Edsall of Burritt Road, Hilton, is the Testing Control Officer at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) in Syracuse, NY and a 1999 graduate of the ROTC program at SUNY Brockport. The son of Dan and Rita Hasenauer of Dunbar Road, Hilton, Hasenauer is currently in basic training at Ft. Benning, Georgia. He will be assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division after his training. The soldiers' cousin, 3rd Class Petty Officer Joshua Shepanski, son of Jim and Kathy Shepanski of Mill Road, Rochester, is also in military service. He is currently serving with the U.S. Navy at Whinbey Island, Washington in the Explosive Ordinance Demolition Mobile Unit (EODMU). The servicemen are grandsons of Dorothy and the late Paul Shepanski of Parma Center Road, Hilton. |
