Brockport Chess Club wins Division III Championship

Brockport's Chess Club, the Chess Devils, recently won their division. They went undefeated all year during 10 regular season games and two play-off games between Albion, Hilton, Holley, Kendall and Pembroke Schools. Brockport students were awarded trophies at the Rochester Interscholastic Chess League Championship on April 24 at Eastridge High School. Sixth-grader Will Noel also received a board prize for winning five games in a row during the championship.
