Students plant trees for Earth Day
Student council members at Brockport's Hill Elementary School celebrated Earth Day by planting trees in the lot between their school and Wegmans. Students, overseen by Student Council Coordinator Eileen Jungbluth, received the trees from Saratoga Nursery in Albany as a part of a package that provides food/shelter for our local wildlife. Above, fourth-grader Corinne Killenbeck starts to dig a hole with the help of Buck Noble, to plant trees for Earth Day.
