Brockport chooses new attorney
Brockport officials unanimously voted to hire Keith O'Toole as the village attorney. O'Toole began his duties with the village on May 21.
"We interviewed quite a few applicants," Village of Brockport Mayor Josephine Matela said. "Mr. O'Toole seemed to be the best fit for our needs."
O'Toole, an attorney with a private practice in Spencerport, also serves as the municipal attorney for the Village of Spencerport and for the Towns of Ogden and Chili.
Matela declined to comment on the departure of the village's former attorney, Ed Riley.
